﷯Jay Clark - Principal Colorado native Jay Clark founded JC Charity Services to fulfill his life's calling to serve others in his beloved home state. Leading with integrity and harnessing the strength of a career spent building relationships and improving organizational financial success, which includes serving as the Executive Director of three awesome Colorado nonprofit foundations and working in professional sports, is how JC Charity Services will lift up our clients. ﷯Most recently, Jay served as Executive Director of Seeds of Hope, one of the Archdiocese of Denver’s flagship ministries that helps low-income families send their children to Catholic schools. Besides increasing net revenues from special events and earning Seeds of Hope a perfect Charity Navigator rating that less than one percent of evaluated nonprofits receive, Jay helped lead the “Catholic Schools Emergency Relief Fund” that raised more than more than $670,000 in the span of eight weeks to support families, teachers and schools during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. ﷯From 1994 to 2009, Jay helped build the Gold Crown Foundation, a Colorado youth nonprofit organization, from some ideas scratched on a napkin to one of Colorado's best and largest youth sports and education organizations. In addition to helping programs flourish, Jay oversaw all aspects of development and construction for Coca-Cola All Star Park in 1998 and then with for Gold Crown Field House in 2003. Both projects, which required raising more than $10 million to build, came in on time and under budget and have provided more than a million opportunities for young people to participate in sports and education programs. Opening the two facilities remain Jay’s proudest professional accomplishments. ﷯ After his tenure at Gold Crown, Jay launched his own communications business, Wolfpack Communications, where he worked with great nonprofits like the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, Pedal the Plains, Colorado Clowns, as well as sports, business and real estate clients. In 2015, Jay re-entered the nonprofit world as Executive Director of Adam’s Camp.﷯ Adam’s Camp’s mission is to develop strengths and realize potential for children with special needs and their families. Jay was able to help elevate annual giving and special event revenue through teamwork, storytelling and community engagement. Jay started his career in 1987, spending seven seasons in the Media Relations office of the Denver Nuggets. From 1992-1994, Jay served as the Midwest Division Representative to the NBA PR Advisory Board, charged with recognizing and implementing best practices in one of the world's foremost major sports leagues. Jay is proud to have worked for the Nuggets in a "golden age" of sports journalism and served many legendary journalists, players, coaches and leaders locally and nationally. Jay graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Technical Journalism. He currently serves on the board of the Joann B. Ficke Cancer Foundation.
